Fumetec Ltd recently installed a new enclosure unit at a chemical plant in North Wales. Our project team was challenged to design and build a 4.5mtr x 1.8mtr x 2.6mtr high walk-in type enclosure unit with 2 No Bi-folding doors. The unit also provided 3 No evolution Atex rated extract arms. This involved the team working closely with the client to determine a high-end product that would facilitate the client’s processes and meet all requirements. Our project team set about doing the design work and ensured all drawings produced were discussed and reviewed at project meetings before being placed into manufacture.

Once manufactured, the unit was assembled on the shopfloor for the end users to carryout a periodic inspection and add comments. Any minor issues were addressed inhouse before installation work was carried out on site.
The installation team involved 4 No highly experienced engineers and all work was installed to a high standard whilst ensuring all safety precautions were carried out and maintained throughout. Our engineers completed the new install within a 2-week schedule to the client’s satisfaction.
